Deeper Life Gospel Center (DLGC) was founded by Pastor Wade A. Bell, Sr. as a Non-denominational Christian Church.  The vision of this church is to communicate the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ by merging God’s Word with daily living to produce lifestyles of godliness and success.

The first worship service was held on March 17, 1987 in Melvindale, Michigan. The few founding members began to increase thereby causing us to move into our next location on Manor Street in Detroit, Michigan in June, 1987.

The reports about DLGC continued to spread telling people that we were teaching the Gospel that would literally change their life.  Membership grew to the point of needing to secure a larger facility. In July of 1990 Deeper Life moved into its own facility located on Fenkell Street in Detroit, Michigan.  This move clearly demonstrated the love, togetherness, unity, support, expertise, and obedience, etc. of the members of DLGC. One of the first messages Pastor Bell taught, in the beginning of the ministry, was on the subject of “tithes & offerings”. Every believer must be taught to be a good steward of God’s blessing. Thereby getting a firm and solid foundation, we were able to pay for our first facility in cash and move in debt free. 

Because of the grace of our Lord (that has continued to be upon us), the search for another facility was at hand. In December 1994, we moved to yet another location on Schoolcraft in Detroit. As a result of the launching of our website and radio broadcast in this city as well as in 16 other states, the word was out - “Deeper Life Gospel Center is Changing Lives”!  The ministry had grown to the extent that space was at a premium. We again sought after a facility that we may continue to expand the ministry the Lord had given us. 

In May of 2005 Deeper Life moved into its current facility in Redford, Michigan, where we continue to teach the gospel that will change your life by way of our radio broadcast in Florida and Georgia. As well as ministries and programs such as: Men’s, Women’s, Children’s, Single’s, & Marriage Ministry, Adult & Youth Life Skills Training, Holy Spirit Classes, Outreach Ministry, and Community Clothing Giveaways, just to name a few.  With your prayers and support greater works shall we do in Jesus’ name.
